Somnolence or the daytime sleep can be a signal towards the existence of cardiac problems. The person may fall asleep unexpectedly and unknowingly. Another worse symptom of the cardiac ailment is the difficulty in taking breaths. The condition can cause cardiac arrest if not detected properly.

Beta blockers bring back the irregular heart beats to a regular level. It can resist excess blood pressure and prevents chest pain. Nitrates are used for the relaxation of heart muscles.
ACE or Angiotensin Converting Enzyme Inhibitor is another commonly suggested medicine in widening the blood vessels and there by balancing the blood pressure to the normal level. Calcium channel blockers can also help in the same matter. Diuretics are another category of medications which lessens the amount of excess fluids in the body. Then there is the thrombolytic agent which helps in dissolving the blood clots during severe cases. Care should be taken in consuming these medications. Ensure that you are taking the drugs only under the guidance of an expert physician. In case of dosage skipping or excess dosage, the doctor should be consulted and take the advise.
